What makes a dream house? I don't
like McMansions, or space for the sake of showing up the Joneses. I
don't believe in maxing out square footage, or in trying to make a house
look like an old style that it's not - "Craftsman style" McMansion
teardown replacements, I'm talking to you!

Looking through the list, I'm thinking I have multiple personality disorder. Under further analysis, I see that I am drawn to older homes, particularly Malaysian styles, and as for modern, I like those that have drawn upon a vernacular style, taken the best characteristics of it and made it modern. I like tiny and cozy and I like big and rambling. I like mountains, oceans, farms, cities and walking neighborhoods. Some are for single life, some are for families, some are just in case I magically become a minimalist in a parallel universe.
